Established in 1987, EMCS is the UK’s only truly independent alarm receiving centre.
Their highly secure monitoring station in Nottingham is manned around the clock by trained experts, who keep a watchful eye on a plethora of security solutions and raise the alarm with both customers and the emergency services. They pride themselves on offering a personal touch, with staff available to speak to customers 24 hours a day.
You can’t take a day off when you’re providing reliable security services. In fact, with so many companies having to temporarily close, security would take on even more importance than usual.
EMCS needed to let their clients know they were still operating as normal, while complying with social distancing measures.

How we helped
We’ve got a long-standing relationship with EMCS, so we contacted them when things began to get serious. We included suggestions on how best to use their telephone system, to make sure callers knew they were still open and able to help.
We agreed between us that a new standardised welcome message would be played to everyone calling into the business, with the aim of easing their worries; we quickly wrote the scripts, got them recorded and then put them through our comprehensive editing process, before uploading them to the system. And hey presto – job done.
