Your First 12 Weeks at the Sales Academy

Week 1 – Company Induction
Step into the world of PHMG. Discover our history, dive into our products, explore the client journey, and see how creativity powers everything we do. Learn how our top salespeople deliver world-class pitches—then craft and practice your very own.

Weeks 2–4 – Salesforce Fundamentals
Get hands-on with our CRM, Salesforce. Work with real data, adapt your pitch for real prospects, and sharpen your skills with one-to-one coaching from our Sales Development Managers.

Weeks 4–8 – Pitch Mastery
Whether from our pool or your own research. You’ll start working toward a clear glidepath of KPIs and sales metrics, all while refining your pitch with tailored support from our coaches.

Weeks 8–12 – Raising the Bar
The challenge ramps up. With tougher KPIs and success metrics, plus ongoing one-to-one coaching, you’ll be equipped to prove yourself at the highest level.

Graduation – Whenever You’re Ready
After 6 weeks, if you’re crushing it – you can graduate early and earn your place on the senior sales floor.

Career Progression – Sales

As you hit each milestone, you’ll climb the senior scale—unlocking bigger rewards along the way. From salary bumps, vouchers, and top-tier headphones, through to holiday escapes, company mobiles, and even directorship titles—your success comes with serious perks.

Not everyone’s journey looks the same. Once you’ve proven yourself, you’ll have the freedom to choose the path that fits your strengths and ambitions:

Sales Leadership

After reaching Senior 1, you’ll be eligible for our Team Leader training. This builds your core leadership skills and sets you on the path to running your own team. From there, you can progress into advanced leadership training designed to prepare you for Head of Sales and beyond.

Sales Development

If inspiring others is more your style, step into a development role. You’ll work with new starters in the Academy, coaching them through their first steps and setting them up for success.

Dan Wilson

Dan joined PHMG in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in L&D, coaching, sales, strategy, and leadership across finance, construction, and stationery industries. He’s passionate about people development—ensuring every individual explores every avenue for growth and takes the right steps forward. No two days are the same at PHMG, and that’s exactly what makes it such a special place to lead and grow.

Ben joined PHMG in November 2021, bringing experience as a Business Development Manager in the utilities sector. He’s passionate about unlocking the full potential of the MDEs on his team—pushing for progress, not just performance. At PHMG, he champions a culture where hard work and results aren’t just recognised—they’re rewarded with real career growth.

Trevor Jones

Trevor joined PHMG in October 2022, bringing energy from his days as a college baseball player and experience in the restaurant industry. He graduated from PVCC and now channels his competitive edge into training global sales teams. Fun fact: he’s a pro-level dart player, just don’t challenge him unless you like losing. His PHMG journey? Powered by a Beginner’s Mindset and a constant drive to grow.

Adam Brazier

Adam joined PHMG in May 2021, trading in his tradie roots and six years of Aldi supermarket management for the world of sales—with zero experience and a front-row seat to the UK’s lean post-COVID MDE team. No Academy. No hand-holding. Just him and the top dogs. Today, he’s based in Brisbane as an SDM, gearing up to buy his second home in the city he now calls home. Outside the office, Adam shares a passion for motorcycles and the great outdoors with his twin, and once placed 3rd in the BDFA World Powerlifting Championships—because when he goes in, he goes all in.
His journey is proof that with the right mindset, anything’s possible.
