Since their establishment, the Howarth Timber brand has evolved from humble Yorkshire roots into a nationwide company. Now running 36 branches and employing over 1,000 people, the business has built a strong presence across the UK.

With growth comes expectations – and as Howarth Timber expanded, so too did the necessity for equally ambitious marketing. We were tasked with developing On-Hold Marketing that didn’t just talk timber, but shouted about the full scale of what The Howarth Timber Group has to offer.

The problem

As the Howarth Timber Group broadened their horizons, the business remained strongly associated with their heritage product, timber – but many customers were unaware of their other services and expertise.

This lack of awareness meant opportunities in other areas were being missed, and the company saw the need to better communicate the full scope of their products, services, opening hours, and specialist knowledge across every branch.
