The background

Founded in 1929, Bidfood has grown from its early days as Booker Foodservice into one of the UK’s leading suppliers of over 10,000 food, drink, and catering products.

Over the years, the company has undergone several name changes, and in 2017 – after separating from the Bidvest Group – they rebranded globally as Bidfood. This new name carried forward their proud heritage and passion for food.

Our role was to communicate this rebrand with professionalism, while ensuring their new sound stayed true to the trusted reputation Bidfood has built over nearly a century.

The problem

With a global audience to consider, it was important that the rebrand was communicated seamlessly on a large scale. Bidfood knew that they had to work quickly to minimise confusion, maintain customer confidence, and keep their network fully informed.

That meant getting the messaging and voice exactly right – professional, respectful, and instantly reassuring to their existing audience. And voilà – we made it happen.
