For more than 25 years, AUZ Country Carriers has built a strong reputation for fast, reliable transport and logistics solutions across Melbourne, Gippsland, Geelong, and beyond. But longevity hasn’t stopped them innovating.
In 2015, they expanded their network and services to include national freight, nationwide on-forwarding, and third-party warehousing and distribution.
Today, AUZ Country Carriers is a one-stop shop for transport and logistics – and they turned to PHMG to develop a phone system that reflects the same professionalism they put into every journey.
The problem
AUZ Country Carriers recognised the cracks in their existing phone system, with callers being directed to the wrong department and left listening to uninspiring audio. Without the right voice to represent them, they resorted to using a staff member for their self-made messages – a workaround that didn’t quite reflect the level of professionalism they aimed for.

How we helped
To fix the poor customer journey, we started by redesigning their auto attendant, making sure every caller was routed to the right department, first time.
From there, we tackled the on-hold experience. Out went the generic audio, and in came a professional voice that reflected AUZ Country Carriers’ service and expertise. We then paired the chosen voiceover artist with engaging scripts that reinforced the company’s values of care and reliability.
