The marketing team you are working with blends experience from the world’s leading brands and admired organisation – including Gillette, The HUT Group, JD and PWC.   

You will be working across multiple countries to develop marketing initiatives and activation plans. The lead country for many initiatives is the USA – the engine of growth for PHMG.

Current PHMG Markets include: U.S.A., Canada, UK, Australia, Ireland, Singapore, South Africa.

 

Purpose of Role

As a key member of the PHMG Marketing team you will be working with external agencies to brief, create & implement marketing initiatives with excellence to build brand awareness, deliver considered leads and ultimately grow the PHMG business. You will work closely with Senior Executives, Sales & Client Services and the Engineering/Development teams to deliver successful initiatives that support the business growth ambitions.

You will be expected – through leadership, actions and working in collaboration across the business – to support the delivery of PHMG’s marketing vision:

  • Initiate, lead, develop and deliver Marketing initiatives that will enable the business to generate incremental growth.
  • Create & lead the development of ‘customer benefit’ focussed initiatives that meet the needs & requirements of our customers ahead of competition.
  • Inspire and facilitate a customer-centric mind-set through the organisation.
  • Planning & implementation of the Salesforce CRM & Pardot Marketing platform to transform the marketing function support for the business.
  • Facilitate high performance teamwork with all internal and external partners.

 

Core Responsibilities

Marketing Initiatives

  • Initiate, lead & support the development & implementation of marketing initiatives, with the emphasis on digitally focused initiatives including:
  • Salesforce CRM & Pardot Marketing Platform
  • PPC & SEO
  • Email campaigns planning & activation
  • Website management & development  

Salesforce CRM & Pardot Marketing platform

  • The investment in Salesforce CRM & Pardot will deliver a transformation in the delivery and efficiency of Marketing support across the organisation.
  • This role will be the lead role in the Marketing functions working with the Engineering/Development team, CRM Project Leads and other functions to plan and implement Salesforce & Pardot from. Marketing campaign & support perspective.
  • Determine how to best leverage the Salesforce CRM/Pardot platform to aid support delivery, efficiency, campaign & activity automation and results of Marketing activities.
  • Set up of new initiatives, campaigns & reporting requirements within the SF & Pardot platform

Marketing Campaign Design & implementation

  • Initiate, lead & support the Campaign design and implementation process – working with the relevant external & agencies & internal/external partners to develop marketing campaigns to support brands and initiatives, focused on key KPI’s and delivering measurable results.
  • Review agency/team plans to ensure appropriateness of media, media spend, ability to deliver KPI’s, match of available resource & competency.
  • Work with the media agency/performance marketing agency to ensure maximum efficiencies of spend & seek out alternative options. Monitor the media spend & intervene when results fall below expectations/results have additional efficiencies available.
  • For each initiative, understand the local Region/Country needs & adaptions necessary to deliver success.
  • Lead the excellence in initiative delivery, understanding risks ahead of implementation and intervening when appropriate.
  • Complete post launch review & assessments to ensure learnings are captured & incorporated into future plan

Annual Marketing Planning Process

  • Support the annual marketing activity planning & budget planning process to ensure the appropriate strategy & initiatives are activated.
  • Lead the planning process in particular elements/areas to ensure appropriateness of plans & budget for successful activation.

Marketing Budget Management

  • Support the budget tracking and management process for the appropriate initiatives & Brand team related budgets. Leading the budget tracking process for the marketing activities assigned to the role.

Return On Investment of Marketing initiatives

  • Understand the ROI of marketing activities. Complete formal quarterly ROI reviews. Apply learnings continuously to the relevant initiatives & campaigns. Share learnings across the marketing team & wider business as appropriate.

External Agency Management

  • Management of External agency partners involved in the elements/initiative that have been assigned to the role, including: Annual & initiative KPI’s setting (dependent on initiative mix), performance review inputs, understanding & support requirements, formal feedback process.

 

Skills & Experience

  •  Marketing experience, ideally with experience within a B2B subscriptions business.
  • Expert Salesforce user, ideally with Pardot experience
  • An entrepreneurial spirit at home in a fast-paced environment.
  • A social media natural – skilled & savvy, intuitively understands the drivers of engagement & results from each platform & platform element.
  • Performance Marketing knowledge & understanding.
  • Collaborative – a passionate team member and a natural in business partnerships
