We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller will report to the Global Financial Controller and be responsible for overseeing financial aspects of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, effective internal controls, and compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic insights to support the company's growth and success.

Location: Old Trafford, Manchester
Salary: Up to £75,000 DOE
Hours: 8.45am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday
Responsibilities:
- Accurately preparing consolidated management accounts
- Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
- Working closely with Finance Business Partners (FP&A) and other Finance sub-teams (Payroll, Accounts Payable) to ensure books are closed for month-end accurately
- Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and scalable as the business continues to grow
- Ensuring best practice governance is maintained, including timely fillings to relevant authorities
- Preparing draft statuary accounts for review, being the first point of contact for external auditors
Key requirements
- Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in a Financial Controller/Finance Manager role
- Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in industry
- Experience in a hands on role
- Excellent numerical and communication skills
- Experience of improving systems, controls and reporting
- Knowledge of US taxes and legislation is preferred but not essential
- Experience of Microsoft Navision is preferred but not essential
